Collagen induction therapy · Colleyville, TX
Microneedling: renewed skin, built by your body's own repair process
Fine, sterile needles create controlled micro-injury that prompts new collagen and elastin. Over a series of sessions, microneedling softens acne and other scars, refines texture and pores, and smooths fine lines, with minimal downtime.

How it works
How collagen induction therapy works
Controlled micro-injury
Thousands of microscopic channels are created at a calibrated depth for your treatment area and concern.
The repair cascade
Growth factors are released, circulation increases, and fibroblasts, the cells that build collagen, are activated.
Collagen remodeling
New collagen and elastin form over the following weeks. Results keep improving for months.
What microneedling treats
- Acne scars: icepick, boxcar and rolling
- Surgical and injury scars
- Fine lines and texture
- Enlarged pores
- Hyperpigmentation and melasma-related texture
- Stretch marks
- Thinning hair (scalp microneedling)
What to expect
Before: consultation and skin mapping to confirm microneedling is a good fit and set your session plan.
During: topical numbing, then the device passes over the area at a depth set for your skin. Most feel mild pressure and warmth.
After: skin looks flushed for 24–48 hours. Improvement continues for weeks as new collagen forms.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Does microneedling hurt?
Topical numbing cream is applied before every session. Most patients feel light pressure and warmth rather than sharp pain. Areas with thinner skin can feel more noticeable.
How many sessions will my acne scars need?
It depends on the depth and type of scarring. Many patients see meaningful improvement over 3–6 sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, with results building between visits.
What's the downtime?
Expect redness and mild sensitivity for 24–48 hours, similar to a mild sunburn. Most patients return to normal makeup and skincare within a day or two.
Who shouldn't get microneedling?
It isn't recommended during active acne breakouts, while taking isotretinoin, for keloid-prone skin, or during pregnancy in some cases. We screen for these at your consultation.
How is this different from RF microneedling?
Standard microneedling relies on mechanical micro-injury alone. Radiofrequency microneedling adds heat at the needle tip, which can reach deeper, more established scar tissue.
